Too bad these panels are only an hour long, I could listen for so much longer. I hit up one about top female game characters and then listened to another about finding/creating a gaming community, which I find highly relevant for me since I am desperately trying to get into the industry. There are so many interesting panels, I wish I had had enough time to see all of them. But everything else seemed great.Īnother great game that I saw was an indie game called Tengami ( ). It was like having a dog form try to rear up like a horse and it just didn’t really work for me. The concept is unique, the graphics are beautiful, though the animation for the monsters was kind of awkward to me visually.

And I was particularly impressed with this one I went back three times to watch people play it. I did not play any of the games as I was too busy trying to see everything and hit up several panels but I did stop and stand uncomfortably close to people and watch them play. And I stalked Burnie Burns for two blocks trying to get his autograph, which didn’t happen since it occurred to me that it might be a little weird to follow him all the way back to his hotel, so I gave up. Totally worth the 30 dollars it cost for the ticket.

And where did this miraculous event occur at? Well ladies and gentlemen, yours truly got to go to PAX Prime this Friday and even got to sit in on the Rooster Teeth panel. That’s right, I got to actually meet Monty Oum and I didn’t pass out on the floor from sheer excitement.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is Monty Oum’s signature. You may be wondering what this picture of a fat circle blowing kisses is.
